DC5 Type R Side Marker Template Solution

Golden Era Motorworks has always had a soft-spot for old school Hondas like EG’s, EK’s, and DC2’s rocking JDM side markers. We’ve always wanted a legitimate solution for owners to install their side markers in the EXACT location found on the JDM DC5 Type R. Cutting into clean, vintage, OEM fenders using a paper template off the RSX forum really wasn’t accurate enough for us. Inspecting the paper template, it revealed that its mounting hole isn’t even close to the same shape as the original JDM mounting hole. We 3D scanned and modeled our design on a set of authentic JDM DC5 Type R fenders which ensured perfect accuracy that the true JDM enthusiast could appreciate. We’ve worked hard in getting the design, location, and shape of the mounting hole to perfectly match with the JDM Type R fender.
